Fun Fused Glass Classes

Come play with glass in these easy, fun classes. Create with pre-cut glass,
including glass powder, crushed glass, and dichroic glass. Add words by writing
with markers that permanently fuse onto glass. As easy as decorating a
homemade pizza! Library classes, work parties, girls’ night out, bridal showers,
Scout troops & birthday parties are welcome.

Create dichroic fused glass at the location of your choice. All materials included.
Travel fee: First two-hours round-trip free, then $60/hour, prorated. No experience
necessary. All ages: adults, and children ages 9-12 must be supervised one-on-
one by an adult. Glass is ready in about eight days.

Pendants and magnets are 1-inch by 1-inch. Coasters are 3-inches by 3-inches.
Coasters are more expensive than pendants or magnets because they require
more materials and kiln time.

Subject: Wonderful, well-priced program

Not sure how many of you received this message from Deenie Pacik, but we
followed up and invited her to lead a workshop this morning. For $160 she
provided instruction, materials, mileage, and postage (participants make one or
more glass pendants, which she then fires in her studio in RI and mails back).
The program attracted school-age kids (with adult helpers) through retirees.
Everyone had a great time. Best part: we filled the workshop with 30 people and
turned away several more—so we’re looking at having Deenie back again. (30 is
the limit because that’s what her kiln will hold. Talk to her or see her website for

Hi Deenie,

Thank you again for such a fun and interesting class yesterday.  You're awfully
good at wrangling a room full of varied ages and attention spans! ...

Best regards,

Deenie Pacik Giuliano
provides a wide variety of
pretty stones and the
materials needed to make
it a pendant to wear, or a
keychain. We were
mobbed with happy
crafters, who surrendered
their art works at the end
of the day to Deenie, who
took them home to fire
them, then mailed them
back. The day was fun for
all, including a few
youngsters, and everyone
was thrilled to see their
finished work at pick up
here in the library.
Definitely add this to your

Our library patrons
enjoyed a terrific summer
program with Deenie
Pacik in July.  Our reading
theme was "Libraries
Rock" and did she ever!
Her class (Fused Glass
Pendant Making) was full,
but she managed to be
"everywhere" to help folks
with their projects and no
one went away
disappointed. The
creations were beautiful
and original.  Deenie
supplied all the materials
and I had a lovely time
helping her set-up
(though this was not
required!).  We will
definitely have her back to
do more workshops, as
everyone asked, "When
can she come again?"
